Privacy Policy

Spy Tower is a security-camera viewing app operated by Revo Tech Limited ("Revo Tech", "we", "us"). This policy describes what information the Spy Tower app (iOS and Android) handles and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your account email address and password are used to sign you in. Accounts are provisioned by Revo Tech or your security installer. The app has no self-service registration. Passwords are stored only in hashed form on our servers.
• User identifier. Our service associates your account with an internal user ID so we can determine which cameras you are authorised to view.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or browsing history, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Camera video

Live video and recorded footage are streamed from your cameras to your device, where possible over a direct peer-to-peer connection. Device connectivity is provided by the camera manufacturer's cloud platform (Dahua / DoLynk), which processes device identifiers and stream credentials in order to establish the connection. Recorded footage is stored on your camera's local storage (e.g. SD card) or, if enabled, in the camera platform's cloud service. Revo Tech does not store your video on its own servers.

On-device storage

• Stay signed in. If you sign in, your credentials are stored securely in your device's protected credential storage (the iOS Keychain, or Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage) so you don't have to re-enter them. They are excluded from device backups.
• Saved clips. If you choose to save a video clip or snapshot, it is written to your device's photo/media library. The app asks for permission where the platform requires it, and saved media never leaves your device unless you share it yourself.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with the camera platform provider (Dahua / DoLynk) to the extent necessary to connect you to your cameras, and with service providers that host our infrastructure.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active. To have your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the address below and we will action the request.

Security

Connections to our services use TLS, and camera streams are encrypted by the camera platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Spy Tower is a professional security tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
